Dr. M.S. Sidhu

Following graduation, he secured admission through the All India Entrance Examination to the highly competitive postgraduate program in Orthodontics at AIIMS, New Delhi. During his postgraduate training, he was awarded the Shri Mohan Wig Gold Medal for Best Clinical Research at AIIMS and the Dr. J.G. Kannapan Best Thesis Award in Orthodontics by the Indian Orthodontic Society.

Dr. Sidhu has lectured extensively, published over 58 national and international scientific papers, and presented and conducted courses at numerous professional conferences. His contributions to orthodontic education and research have earned him multiple Best Paper Awards. He is a member and Fellow of the National Academy of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, and was among the early clinicians to obtain the Diplomate of the Indian Board of Orthodontics, awarded for excellence in clinical orthodontics.

With more than three decades of experience in postgraduate and undergraduate teaching, Dr. Sidhu has held several senior academic positions, including Professor & Head of Orthodontics, Principal and Director of Postgraduate Studies at SGT Dental College, Gurugram, and Dean of Research & Development and Institutional Planning at SGT University. He has also served as an examiner and question-paper setter for postgraduate dental programs at several universities, including AIIMS, New Delhi.

His clinical interests include orthodontic treatment for children and adults, aesthetic dentistry and smile design, tooth whitening, conservative dentistry and endodontics, implant dentistry, and fixed prosthodontics including crowns and bridges.
